Today is the World Food Day, which honors the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in 1945. Nairobi is hosting on this day the first Nutrition Africa Investor Forum, focused on enhancing nutrition across Africa, the development of the food value chain and the engagement of the private sector as its key driver. Organized by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) together with Royal DSM, SUN Business Network and African Business magazine, this event will allow investors to connect with investment opportunities in high impact nutrition businesses as well as to exchange knowledge, share experiences, explore collaborations and spark new ideas. We are happy to join the discussion, as the provision of the nutrient-rich foods and its control play an important role in reaching of the set nutrition agenda.

This year’s theme for the World Food Day is “Our Actions are our Future. A ZeroHunger world by 2030 is possible.

Successful fulfillment of the Zero Hunger goal by 2030 requires that food available to the target population is also nutritious, containing micronutrients critical to human health. BioAnalyt pursues this goal by enabling cost-effective and field-friendly testing solution to measure these micronutrients in food and biological fluids.
