BioAnalyt, in partnership with Catholic Relief Services, strengthened the capacities of regulatory structures in Togo by equipping key agencies with iCheck Iodine, iCheck Chroma 3, and iCheck Iron devices for rapid micronutrient analysis in fortified foods. Additionally, stakeholders from various ministries and control structures were trained in the practical use of iCheck devices. The training also covered the regulatory and legislative framework for food fortification and the current state of fortified food controls in Togo.
