In our “Introducing the BioAnalyt Team” series, we meet Jonathan Scott, Senior HR Business Partner and a valued member of the extended BioAnalyt family.
From Dallas, Texas, to BioAnalyt – A Journey Across Continents
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Jonathan began his professional journey in a different arena. As a professional volleyball player, he moved to Europe over 20 years ago, playing at the highest levels before transitioning into a career focused on operations and recruiting.
A Career Rooted in Growth and Impact
For the past 15 years, Jonathan has honed his expertise in operations and recruitment, starting with professional sports clubs and later supporting some of the world’s biggest companies, including eBay, StubHub, and Tesla. His academic background in Organizational Leadership and Supervision, with minors in Psychology and Music Performance from Purdue University Fort Wayne, provided the perfect foundation for his multifaceted career.
Jonathan’s volleyball career also brought him full circle to BioAnalyt in a unique way—he recruited fellow professional volleyball player Paul Sprung to join the team. This connection exemplifies Jonathan’s knack for identifying talent and creating lasting professional relationships.
Becoming Part of the BioAnalyt Family
Jonathan joined forces with BioAnalyt a couple of years ago as an HR Business Partner through Business Builders, where he has focused on HR, recruitment and driving strategic growth. His commitment to BioAnalyt’s mission has grown to the point where he feels like a true part of the team.
Balancing Work, Passions, and Dupree
When not supporting socially conscious organizations like BioAnalyt, Jonathan is busy with his energetic and “crazy” dog, Dupree, who keeps life exciting and unpredictable. Beyond his work and canine companion, Jonathan enjoys music, staying active, and exploring entrepreneurial ventures that align with his values.
A Motto for Success
Jonathan lives by the belief: “Challenges aren’t roadblocks; they’re stepping stones to something greater.” This perspective fuels his passion for helping organizations like BioAnalyt thrive while making a meaningful impact on the world.
