N\u00e9 \u00e0 Munich, la belle capitale de la Bavi\u00e8re, dans le sud de l&rsquo;Allemagne, le professeur Schweigert a suivi une formation en m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Munich, puis a \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9 de recherche en m\u00e9decine \u00e0 la Harvard Medical School, \u00e0 Boston. Jeune chercheur, il a pass\u00e9 de nombreuses journ\u00e9es \u00e0 \u00e9tudier le m\u00e9tabolisme de la vitamine A chez les phoques gris sur les rives des mers arctiques canadiennes. Le professeur Schweigert s&rsquo;est rendu compte que la solution ne consistait pas \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les \u00e9tapes de l&rsquo;ensemble du processus d&rsquo;analyse des \u00e9chantillons, mais \u00e0 trouver une solution qui changerait compl\u00e8tement l&rsquo;analyse des micronutriments : l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon ne doit pas \u00eatre transport\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;au laboratoire, mais le laboratoire doit \u00eatre amen\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon. Il occupe \u00e9galement le poste de vice-pr\u00e9sident pour les affaires internationales, les anciens \u00e9tudiants et la collecte de fonds \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Potsdam. Scientifique de renomm\u00e9e internationale, il a publi\u00e9 plus de 250 articles scientifiques.  <\/p><p>Lorsque le professeur Schweigert n&rsquo;est pas \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Potsdam ou \u00e0 BioAnalyt, il aime passer du temps avec sa femme et ses quatre enfants \u00e0 voyager. Saviez-vous que le professeur Schweigert est \u00e9galement un fervent amateur d&rsquo;art ? Quelle que soit la ville o\u00f9 il se rend avec sa famille, il aime visiter les mus\u00e9es et assiste parfois \u00e0 un op\u00e9ra ou \u00e0 un concert local lorsque c&rsquo;est possible.
