En raison de sa consommation omnipr\u00e9sente, notamment en Asie et de plus en plus en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest, le riz constitue un excellent moyen de fournir des vitamines et des min\u00e9raux essentiels par le biais de l&rsquo;enrichissement &#8211; une intervention \u00e9prouv\u00e9e et rentable pour r\u00e9duire les carences en micronutriments. Les micronutriments qu&rsquo;il est recommand\u00e9 d&rsquo;ajouter au riz sont le fer, le zinc et les vitamines A, B1, B3, B6, B9 et B12. L&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;enrichissement du riz d\u00e9pend d&rsquo;un certain nombre de facteurs : la technologie de production du riz enrichi (extrusion ou enrobage), la qualit\u00e9 des vitamines et des min\u00e9raux utilis\u00e9s, les conditions de stockage et de cuisson, ainsi qu&rsquo;un contr\u00f4le ad\u00e9quat de l&rsquo;industrie.  <\/p>\n<p>Pour faciliter la mise en \u0153uvre de l&rsquo;enrichissement du riz, DSM s&rsquo;est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 nous pour cr\u00e9er une m\u00e9thode rapide de test de la vitamine A, l&rsquo;un des micronutriments les plus sensibles dans le riz enrichi. Une nouvelle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bioanalyt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/iCheck-Fluoro-instructions_vitamin-A_in_fortified_rice_kernels.pdf\">pr\u00e9paration d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e en conjonction avec un photom\u00e8tre portable, le iCheck Fluoro.
