iCheck™ and iEx™ Aqua
Astaxanthin is the major carotenoid responsible for the pink-red pigmentation of fish and shrimps. Aquatic animals cannot synthesise the carotenoid and therefore it must be supplemented in the diet. To fully optimize Astaxanthin use for salmonid flesh pigmentation, iCheck™ Aqua is an easy-to-use method to determine Astaxanthin levels.
How to use.
Grind a fish flesh sample with the included press. Mix a weighed fish flesh sample with buffer. Inject the sample into one iEx™ Aqua vial. After shaking measure the Asthaxanthin concentration with iCheck™ Aqua.
